Place newly charged batteries in recorder. |

Make sure recorder is off (recorder display should be blank). |
| 3. |
Plug the grey cable connected to your PC, into the side of the recorder – align red dots. |

Turn recorder On: CO should be seen on recorder display after a few seconds. |
| 5. |
Open the ABPM Software on your PC. |
| 6. |
Click the new patient icon. Enter patient data at this point – both a number and a name are required. |

Click OK - then Cancel. |
| 8. |
Click Third icon – Prepare recorder. |
| 9. |
Click " Set record Clock ‘’ button – then ‘’ Set Recorders Clock ’’ – then OK. |

Click ‘’ Send patient Number ‘’ button. Click OK. |
| 11. |
Click ‘’Send Protocol ‘’ . Click OK ‘’ Protocol x is now active. Protocol should be displayed. Click OK. |

| The recorder is now initialised and ready to place on patient. Take the cable out of the side of the recorder.Turn recorder off. Place on patient. Turn recorder on then make a few manual recordings. |

Turn recorder on. CO will appear in recorder display. |

On the computer press the fourth icon – read data from recorder. |
| 5. |
When data has transferred press OK. |
| 6. |
All icons will now appear – to print press the printer icon, select the options you require then click OK. |
